A lovely day with my family....

Hi people,how's your new semester????Well,its been two weeks since my holidays ended and my degree started... Year 1 degree is quite different as the subjects that we learn are totally different with our foundation programme.. Degree is really the preparation for us to become a teacher.. Even the assignments also, we have to go the school and interview the students.. But, I think I am quite interested in my Linguistic assignment and this is the first time I spend my freaking RM 25, buying the activity books for the my subject-to-be... *such a miracle* Zalia said, how could I spend so much during our "peak time"... For your infomation, we haven't get our allowance. So, most of us are already penniless now.. But when I look at the activity books, all are like not bad and I really have no idea whether which one suits me...So, I just grabbed all and therefore it costs me freaking 25 bucks...

The books that I prepare for my subject-to-be...Hopefully it suits them... Seriously, I have no idea with current primary school's syllabus...

Just got the form from Macquarie University last 2 days, it is the form for us to do our student card. So, we could access to Macquarie University's library by using the ID card.. This means that the "tough road" is waiting for me.. And just like what Ms. Yeoh says, it's time for me to really think of why am I here...Am I suitable enough to be a teacher??I think I really have to think properly coz I am using the public's money and this course costs almost half million... And hopefully I could fulfill the government's request >>be a quality teacher which produces the better quality students...I think I still need to put on lotsa of efforts to improve myself in order to reach this target... *It's time to improve myself* Go, Tang Lee Yin...

If you switch on you radio, you would listen lotsa Chinese New Year song already...OMG,Chinse New Year is just around the corner....Wee, its time to shop for new clothes...and not to forget, getting ANGPAU soon.....Hohohoh, getting money again... Besides this, this is also the time for the aunties to make the "kuih" for Chinese New Year..and this is the purpose that I came back to my howetown yesterday..My mum wants to make "kuih kapit" Does it call kuih kapit or kuih kepit or kuih sepit??? Aiya, whatever "pit" la..as long as it is delicious and it is edible... It's quite difficult to explain the process, let the photos explain it...

Well, he likes to be the manager+ quality control+supervisor....Don't think that he knows nothing, he actually knows how to make kuih kapit as well...But, he has already naik pangkat..become supervisor now,hahahahaha...lol

It is quite happy because all of us sit together and chit chat with each other and the ladies...of course gossip again...This time, my mum is included,mum don't gossip too much,no good... I think it is a good thing if the young generation involves in this kind of stuff. This is because, nowadays almost all young people do not know how to make this kind of stuffs anymore.. In order to prevent these skills from "extinct", the young generation must involve and learn it...This has actually made the bond between us become stronger and also it does help to "reduce" the yawning gap between the old generation and the young generation... It's a good thing!!!!! Must practice it...

"The making of kuih kepit" finished at around 3 something in the afternoon and we cleaned up all the stuffs... It was almost 4pm, we rest for awhile,bathed, watched tv.... and my father says he is going to bring us out for dinner as a reward to us... *yeah*

We went to a Thai restaurant at somewhere in my hometown named Mae Salong... The restaurant is located at quite a kampung place, we have to turn here and there and finally we reached there... The decoration of the restaurant is really very nice... It is a bit thailand + balinese style...

I didn't bluff you...Seriously, the decoration is very nice.... I think this small tiny pic couldn't show how beautiful it is...you have to experience it yourselves...

I like the deco very much... It is an ideal place for you, if you want to hold a gathering with your friends...They have an air conditioned Karaoke room as well....You can sing in that room the whole day like no one's business if you want to...But,make sure your singing is ok la..don't torture other people's ear....It's a sin,hahahahahaha.....
Sometimes it is quite embarrass if your children run here and there in the restaurant.. and you as the parents would yell at your children like the crazy one,especially women..like siao cha bo,jagalah image sikit...quite pai seh lo, right..... for sure, you will not have this problem in this restaurant...they provide playground for children...and look at that, it's made of wood...not plastic!!!! so environmentalist....hohoho
If you do not have the experience of eating in an "atap house" under the coconut trees like the kampung feel.... You can experience it at Mae Salong too...

The restaurant is still new, less than one month..so, the toilet is still new and clean..but after 3 months???no idea....they have plants in the toilet also....yo, go greenn....

They even have souvenir shop which sells the products made of coconut shell...and all of the products are made in Thailand... so blur,*my poor skill*

They sell the wood furniture also....erm, we had sacrificed so many trees here....It promotes logging too...hmm, no good!!!!!

I think I crap too much, let's talk about the food...

Tom Yam is my love..... and it was super nice...spicy enough, sour enough, just the quantity not enough...it's not enough for my greedy stomach....not only the tomyam, but all the dishes....does it look tantalizing????

and what drink suits thai cuisine the best??? of course coconut juice!!!!!! *yummy*

*but if I am to compare it with another thai restaurant in butterworth>>Khun Thai... I still prefer Khun Thai...The dishes at Khun Thai are much nicer than Mae Salong one... and I think Khun Thai is the pure thai cuisine lo...this one...not so.. personal opinion, no offense...*

Mae Salong plants their own vege as well, I think they just plucked it and cook for the customer... wa, so back to nature feel.... Good, go greennnn again....

*forgot to mention that car parks are provided and it is free of charge...with some Indian men look after your car as well...So, no "no-place-to-park-problem"...* I think the amount of the cars half already shown how popular this restaurant is.... the cars in this photo is just have of it only...

Mae Salong is quite an ideal place for you to have a gathering...can consider it and the food is Halal,no pork!!!! *if I am not mistaken*... The food is not bad but it is too few lo..I'd given the feedback to them just now, hopefully they could change it...The environment is not bad, but it would be nicer if they add some essential oil...nice scent.... hmm, I know I am a fussy customer..but, this is my feedback...and customer is always right k....

Well, I guess that's all for today...It is quite a long post... A lovely day with my family members... Such a long time that we have not been going out to dinner like this...although it is not very nice food...but for me, it is the best!!!! I like it...I also hope that we can always go out like this...but too bad, big bro and sis weren't there..else it would be PERFECT!!!! Hopefully next time, everyone is in the picture.... Firstly, I am here to wish my mother Happy Birthday... Happy Birthday to you, my beloved mum...*Hugs,kisses,loves* Thanks for giving me everything and sorry for didn't celebrate with you... To me, my mum is a WONDERFUL woman!!! I think I should say Iron Lady... She accompanied my dad gone through the hard times when they were still young, I don't know how hard is that..But, I think it is quite hard.... She will always save the best thing to us... Thats why I love her so much, but I know sometimes I am too harsh to her... But, I really hope that I had already grew up, I am able to settle things on my own..Mum, I don't want you to worry about me...I think my mum deserves something good... Too bad, I am penniless now... Else, I'll buy her a present...

Sometimes I do believe it, cause we broke up for 3 times and being together again.. Hola,I am back again..... Back to college already, Year 1 semester 1.... remained at the same block,same roomate but different room.....The room is nice, very clean..But it is at the top floor,FML... Everyday have to wake up earlier and go to class 5 minutes earlier than last time as I have to walk the stairs.... Still remember the first day when I reached here, when I knew that I am staying at the top floor.. I was like WTMFBBQ....My mum laughed and said:" I want to see how are you going to wear your FREAKING heels and walk these stairs everyday.." and here I would like to say... Mum, it is still the same k...I still wear it everyday...My friends say the Internet connection has become better at the top floor, but I would like to say it is sucks lo,worst than last time when I stayed at the 1st floor.... I can't even upload a photo to my facebook, it needs like AGES for me to upload one photo and sometimes it even can't be uploaded at all!!!!! *WTF* Besides, my babes are staying at the other block which is quite far from our block...If I want to find them, it is kinda troublesome..sad lo.. *sobs* Ok, don't want to talk about the FREAKING room anymore... Talk about something which is fun and happy....

Last 3 days was Wednesday...What should we do on Wednesday???? Of course, Ladies outing!!!!!
This is the "reunion" a.k.a first outing for C Gang after the 2 months holidays...... AND I like Wednesday the most... Know why???? coz I only have class until 11.30am and after that its our FREE TIME already!!!!! Yuhoooooo...*jump*
At first, we went to Gurney to watch movie.. Wanted to wacth Sherlock Holmes but the time can't match with our schdule... So we ended up watch The Vampire's Assistant...The movie wasn't very nice...I don't like the movie cause it has no ending... I can feel that during the movie, Neynie the one who sat beside me like very bored and turn here and there...maybe she was too bored...*Actually I am very bored too*The movie was quite lame..

After that, we headed to Batu Ferringhi... It rained again, I think me and Shirley are being curse by someone,maybe....Everytime when we think of want to go Gurney or Batu Ferringhi, for sure that day will rain... But this time, we didn't bother much coz we have CAR...hahahaha, Zalia's new Honda City... Actually our main purpose for going to Batu Ferringhi is to visit Hard Rock Hotel and go to the flea market there... It is around 10 minutes from Gurney, I think... and finally we reached there...... Hard Rock, we are here!!!!!

New Year Eve Part 2...

Hello again...I am going to continue my post about my new year eve celebration...Ok, where was I??? shopping??? Ok, ya.. I was very enjoy that moment.. When I was in dilemma on whether which heels to buy.. and Cat came at the suitable time, I asked for her opinion.. I ended up gave up the Charles n Keith and buy that Vincci like AGAINNNNN.... After that, we accompanied Cat and Jason to Sushi King for their lunch. *supposedly Hi-tea, its already 4pm*.. After the meal, we went back to the hotel and rest... We rested for awhile until 7pm I started to prepare.. I am not excited, but I am a slow motion person.. So, I have to be the first one who prepare first.. After that around 9 something, A and Wei Choon reached the hotel like FINALLY.... Around 11pm we headed to E&O Hotel for the party.. The traffic was terribly jam... And we reached there at around 11.15pm..We get some drink, find a place ti sit.. Then...5....4.....3....2...1...Happy New Year.....

Everyone woke up at 11am, then checked out at 1pm... Had our brunch at Ko Fu Loft in Gurney Plaza....

After the brunch, we headed back to our hometown...It was quite a happy outing with friends..Everyone crazy together,eat together,play together,etc etc...I was very happy on that day...Besides, I get the chance to know a new friend..

New Year Eve Part 1...

Hola...As I mentioned before, I am going to post about my New Year Eve celebration..Here I am to talk about it today... What I want to say is during the party, we were very happy.. After the party, we were very tired... How about before the party?? I would like to say that it was utterly disaster to me and BF.. Around one week before the party, BF was the one who planned for everything. Therefore, he asked some of his friends whether they want to join us or not.. At first, quite many people said YES... So, we went to Penang purposely to ask about the hotel's price to compare which one is the cheapest and which one is the nearest one... *You know la, all of us are poor students...So, must choose the budget one* After we got the price and everything, me and BF informed them and asked for their confirmation again whether they really want to join us... Ok, I can say.. This is the part that we suffered the most!!!! Some of them said, " Oh, each person have to pay around 50 bucks ar??? Erm, I consider first ha, later only I tell u ok??" But they so called "later" is up to 2 days.. Some even worst, suddenly says " I think I don't want to join you liao la.." and this has made us become short of transport. Transport is also one of the issues that made us headache!!!! We have only one car, but we have 6 persons and Wei Choon already told BF that his car can only fit 4 persons including him.. So, we have 2 persons who have no transport!!!ARGHHHHH, that time, BF was very tension like only GOD knows.. So, BF asked Cat and Jason follow Jason friend's car.. Phewww, finally like everything arranged!!! everyone has the transport to go there... BUT, one day before the party, Wei Choon suddenly sms BF told him that he can only depart from sp at 6pm. OMFG!!!! we have to check in, HOW????? SO, me and BF decided to go there by bus first as BF was the one who booked the hotel.. So, we went to Penang at 10am by the freaking City Liner.. In the bus, suddenly Jason called and said "Gene, my friend can't drive ah.. His father doesn't allow him to go there..." We were like WTF again.. So, BF asked him to go Penang with Cat by bus and they ended up went there by Cat's car... After we checked in the hotel, we rest for awhile and then go SHOPPINGGGGGGG...hehe..
p/s: forgot to say that we stayed at Gurney Hotel...

Happy 2010...

Happy new year everyone, today is the first day of year 2010. How's your New Year Eve celebration??? Well, I had a quite nice one.. If I am to compare the new year eve of 2009 and new year eve of 2010, I would prefer the last year one... I think I still prefer the crowded one rather than just find a place and drink,drank, drunk and had a room party in the hotel... Honestly,I think I still prefer to club...I ain't a clubber but I need something like that to get myself high...Ok, back to my purpose for typing this post...





My resolution for 2010:


1.) Of course to lose weight, the prefect weight would be 50kg... Hopefully I can do it..


2.) shop less, save more money... (this is soooo impossible for me man, but still I want to have a try...maybe I can, who knows..)


3.) treat my puppy better (he would be very happy if he sees this)








My wish list for 2010:


1.) I wish to buy a new phone... Hmm, I want Balckberry...who can sponsor me??


2.) of course become more beautiful,hahahahaha...

I've been craving for this like ages ago already, who can buy me one??? *dreaming again...*

Back to College so0n...

Yuhooo...Holidays is going to finish very sooooon!!! I m happy, I know some of my coursemates are not happy with it. This is because they have to leave everything in their hometown, sweet bed at home, parents, siblings, friends at hometown etc etc and go back to the FREAKING 5 STAR HOSTEL... But for me, I am very HAPPY!!! Coz I can go back to the college and meet my friends especially my C GANG girls... my babes, do you know how much I miss you all during the holidays?? Hmm, hopefully the new semester is a good beginning for me...OMFG, I still can't believe that I am going to degree next sem... I am soon become an uni student... Can't believe.. But, I think it might going to be a tough semester too... Hopefully everything is going to be fine then... *pray hard*. I guess some my coursemates would think that I am crazy when they see this... Coz not much people feel happy...But seriously, I am very happy lo.. At least I have something to do everyday rather than sitting at home and doing nothing at home like "siao" one.. I think I'll be busying preparing the stuffs to back to college in these few days.. I think I seriouly need to reduce my stuffs in my room, it's fucking too much..I brought so many things back and yet I still have 6 cartons kept in the surau... I must fix it!!!!! Ok, I am crapping again...
